Road Angel Navigator 7000 Update Instructions Please note: You must register your Road Angel Product before attempting any software installation.

Overview
To update the alert data in the unit using this method you will require the following:

A PC running Windows Vista.
Internet Explorer 5.5 or above [Vista is shipped with IE7]
Windows Mobile Device Centre 6.1

Setup
It is very important that you carry out the following steps for installation of the software and hardware.

Step 1. Firstly, please download/read these setup instructions for WMDC and the Navigator 7000 (PDF)

Step 2. Then download and install Windows Mobile Device Centre 6.1 using the link below.  Note:  This link is for 32-bit version of Vista.  A 64-bit version can be found at www.microsoft.com

Follow the onscreen instructions to install the software.

Step 3. Once WMDC is installed and the device connected to the PC, press the MENU button

Press the button to scroll thorough to Updates then press

Press the   button

Providing you have an internet connection, the device will attempt to connect to the update server.

Once connected, the device will download the latest alert data from the update server.

Once the update is complete, press the button
