ROAD ANGEL NAVIGATOR 7000 UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS Via PC / WEB

Road Angel Navigator 7000 Update Instructions Please note: You must register your Road Angel Product before attempting any software installation.

Overview
To update the alert data in the unit using this method you will require the following:

A PC running Windows 98SE, ME. 2000 or XP.
Internet Explorer 5.5 or above
Microsoft ActiveSync 3.8 or above

Setup
It is very important that you carry out the following steps for installation of the software and hardware.

Step 1. Firstly, please download/read these setup instructions for Microsoft ActiveSync for Navigator 7000 (PDF)

Step 2. Then download and install Microsoft ActiveSync using the link below.

Follow the onscreen instructions to install the software.

Step 3. Once  ActiveSync is installed and the device connected to the PC,  Press the MENU button.

Press the button to scroll thorough to Updates then press

Press the   button

Providing you have an internet connection, the device will attempt to connect to the update server.

Once connected, the device will download the latest alert data from the update server.

Once the update is complete, press the button
