Road Angel Navigator 7000 Update Instructions Please note: You must register your Road Angel Product before attempting any software installation.

Overview
To update the alert data in the unit using this method you will require the following:

A compatible mobile phone with Bluetooth and GPRS capability. Click here for an up to date list.

Setup
It is very important that you carry out the following steps for installation of the software and hardware.

Step 1. Firstly, pair the device with your mobile phone.  You may need to refer to your handset’s manufacturers instructions on how to do this.  Click here for instructions on how to put the device in discoverable mode.  Once you have paired the device for the first time, there is no need to carry out Step 1 for future updates.

Step 2 Press the button.

Press the button to scroll thorough to Updates then press

Press the   button

Providing you have a GPRS internet connection and you have paired the device with your phone, the device will attempt to connect to the update server.  For assistance in paring the device with your phone, click here

Once connected, the device will download the latest alert data from the update server.

Once the update is complete, press the  button
