Error 210002 occurred

This error normally occurs when attempting to update a serial Classic Road Angel, serial number starts with either 0000xxxx or 000xxxxx using a USB to Serial converter.

The serial Classic Road Angel uses a communication system of a 9 pin serial cable between the port on the back of the Road Angel and a communications port on a personal computer. However some new computers, especially laptops, are no longer supplied with a serial port and are purely USB. If you have a 15 pin port on your computer that is the same size as the 9 pin serial port, this is actually a VGA port that allows you to connect an external monitor, it is not a serial port.

If you do not have a serial port on the computer you will need to purchase one of our stand-alone modems.
